Uganda muslim community of Washington was established in 2018 to provide religious knowledge to both adults and young plus preparing new comers adopt to the diverse nature of united states.

To bring together ugandan muslims living in the state of Washington.

How do we do it?
We mobile members for prayer, quality religious education through workshops empasizing religious tolerance and Islamic moral values.
About us
Uganda Muslim community of Washington (UMCOW) was established in July 2018 to provide permanent solutions for the Uganda Muslim community in North America. Primarily, we are focused at providing an appropriate place of worship and providing Islamic education to humanity.
Firstly, In light of the Quran and Sunnah, UMCOW organizes periodic education workshops and seminars to the benefit of our community and humanity in general.
UMCOW also carries out activities that encourages Muslims living in North America to perform their worship such as, Zakah-tul-Mal, Swadaq (charity), Nikkah (Wedding), etc..
UMCOW encourages community members to maintain their Allah given purity, honesty, high morality standard and to seek knowledge and transmit it to humanity.
UMCOW delivers the donations it collects from people with high awareness, to every needy person regardless of culture, race or ethnicity , by giving priority to education. We do this with the help of volunteers teams in Uganda.

"O servants of Allah!, be brothers. You are all the children of Adam, and Adam is created from earth."
